I’m a mama to six, a sign maker, and a wallpaper designer living in the beautiful Similkameen Valley. I love sipping lattes, losing hours dreaming with my husband, and ending each day snuggled up with my kids. Every piece I create is inspired by the beauty of home, nature, and the stories that shape our spaces.
Our Journey...
Wildcomb Designs officially began in 2018 when we bought a fixer-upper and decided to start by creating beautiful, restful spaces for our children. I had long dreamed of decor that was sophisticated yet whimsical — pieces that felt both timeless and imaginative — but I couldn’t find anything that captured the feeling I envisioned. So I picked up a scroll saw and started crafting custom signs for their rooms, inspired by art, vintage charm, and the simple joys of childhood.
As friends and family began asking for their own custom pieces, Wildcomb naturally grew. Every design is a reflection of our family’s journey — from handmade wall art to wallpaper inspired by the birth flowers of our daughters. My goal is to create decor that not only makes a house feel like home, but also brings a little magic and meaning into everyday spaces.
From my childhood in England surrounded by Laura Ashley wallpapers, to my years of redecorating bedrooms and painting in the school art room, home has always been my sanctuary and my canvas. Today, as a wife and mother of six, I continue to find inspiration in everyday beauty — from pottery mugs to wildflowers at the local farm — weaving it into designs that help others tell their own stories at home.
Our Name...
The name Wildcomb was inspired by two of my favourite Bible verses: "Gracious words are like a honeycomb" and "Consider how the wildflowers grow". To me, "Wildcomb" symbolizes the sweetness of kind words, just as honeycomb represents something natural and nourishing, and wildflowers remind us of the effortless beauty found in nature.
